Good Afternoon,

I hope this email finds you well.

Following on from my initial communication in June, I am contacting you from of the organisers of the York 10K, scheduled to 1st August 2021 with a 09:30 start. The event itself continues to be a great platform for participants to achieve personal goals and raising thousands for local and national charities.

The route has changed slightly from previous years, starting on Knavesmire Road then finishing within the grounds of York Racecourse. Runners will head towards to City Centre via Bishopthorpe Road, Nunnery Lane and Bridge Street. They will then pass the front of York Minster and through the City Centre via Goodramgate, Parliament Street and Coppergate. Participants will then travel along the River Ouse river path over Blue Bridge and Millennium Bridge before returning to York Racecourse. Full information on the route can be found at our website: www.runforall.com.

To ensure the safety of runners on the day, there will be some road closures implemented. Attached is a copy of our road closure poster which details the closures that will be in place as well as the timings, a link to our online interactive version can be found HERE. We will also be installing advance warning signs on key routes around York so please keep an eye out for these. Your help in spreading awareness of the event and the closures in place on the day to your congregation would be greatly appreciated.

Run For All will always try to re-open roads as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. If you have any questions regarding access on the day, need any further information or would like to get involved in the event please contact Run For All via info@runforall.com.

Kind Regards,
